Dal profilo Twitter della società, è arrivato un aggiornamento sulle condizioni meteo a Manchester: "We're in Manchester ahead of CityvRoma. Very 'English' weather at the moment but hopefully it won't last long" (Siamo a Manchester per City-Roma. Un tempo molto "inglese" al momento, ma speriamo non durerà a lungo). Ed ecco invece la risposta del City: "Welcome to Manchester! Hope all your fans, staff and players had a safe trip. You’ll get used to the weather" (Benvenuti a Manchester! Speriamo che tutti i tuoi tifosi, lo staff e i giocatori faranno un viaggio sicuro. Vi abituerete al tempo!).
